Here's a highlight of the last three months:
- Our roommate Aaron moved to Arizona in September only to return in December, it's been fun having him around again. Aaron knows all the fun places to go out in Portland so Rion and I feel cool again =).
- My mom had her surgery. It was a rough few days, she had some complications in which she had to go back into surgery and stayed in the hospital a couple days longer then expected. However, once she was home she did amazing! She wasn't in any pain and at this point has fully recovered. She just started chemo this last week so she's preparing herself for the hair loss and side effects. Rion and I are going up to see her February 19th-21st so hopefully I can take that time to catch up with some friends and their little ones ;)
- I started studying for the CPA exams this last month so my brain is overwhelmed with accounting calculations. I hope to take the first exam end of February and I want to be done with all four exams by August at the latest.....we'll see how that goes.
- Christmas was great, very busy, but Rion and I got each other some fun gifts and got to spend time with family. Below is a picture of one of my gifts (It helps to have a handy man for a husband ;)). I wish I had a picture of what it looked like before.....not organized at all!
- Rion and I are planning on putting in a whole new kitchen in March so expect some future updates on that!!!
