Well this next weekend is Kevin's (Rion's dad) 50th birthday. Now since this is a big one the family (mainly Grandma) is throwing a big birthday bash this Saturday with 18 holes of golf during day and a fun filled evening with drinks and BBQ. Several months ago Rion and I gladly volunteered to be on the "bar committee" so this evening we went over to Grandma's to plan out what we needed and schedule a practice run of how the bar will work Friday night...one thing you should know since this sounds a bit extreme is that Grandma likes to plan everything out to the T. So we made a list down to what silverwear would be needed as well as a plan for set up. Another important fact is that the bar is actually in a tiki house (well it's actually an oriental tea house, that we are converting to a tiki house for this special occasion) since the theme of the party is a hawaiian luao. What's expecially cool is that Rion designed and built the house by hand over the last several weeks. I saw it for the first time tonight and I have to say I was pretty darn surprised he was able to pull it off. I mean I know he has skill but this is absolutely beautiful and to see the beginning drawings and now the finished product is absolutely amazing to me. There is so much detail and hand work that went into this structure it's absolutely a work of art!

On another note I'm finally getting a new camera! For those of you who don't know I sat on mine during my 22nd birthday celebration and broke the LCD screen=(. So I've been patiently waiting until I could get a new one and it finally happened. It will arrive tomorrow so I will be posting way more pictures in the next coming weeks as I test it out.
